On November 23rd, 2012, a symbol of Christmas came through Verona. Dixie Gas & Oil Corporation's BP station on 217 Lee Highway in Verona served as a fueling stop for the 2012 Capitol Christmas Tree caravan.

Work continues on our new site in Elkton. All of our exterior site work was completed in the fall, and our newest BP gasoline/diesel outlet and convenience store opened.

We are pleased to announce that in September of 2012, we merged our petroleum operations with those of Blue Ridge Petroleum in Weyers Cave, VA.

BP's Fueling Communities Program

For over 65 years, Dixie Gas has been blessed to have the support of the communities that we serve. In turn, we strive to support the organizations that make these communities wonderful places to live and work. In addition to our own monetary support, for the past two years we have had the opportunity to nominate local organizations for the BP Fueling Communities Program grant.

We have completed the renovation of our new office in Elkton and our 3rd Fireplace Shop is now open.  Also, we have improved our coal service in Elkton and now have coal available in Verona.

Dixie Gas And Oil Corporation is proud to support Susan G. Komen For the Cure® with its fundraiser “Delivering for a Cure.” We have painted two propane delivery trucks pink and white to raise awareness. We will make a donation based on each truck’s deliveries in support of this great cause to help eradicate this deadly disease.
